Marketing Assistant
As a growing marketing agency, we are looking for an junior, entry level or level 1 Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, PPC Specialist, or Marketing Technologist to join our Marketing Team. An adaptive and proactive, forward-thinking team member who will support the marketing team throughout the client lifecycle. From daily inbox management to client onboarding to paid ad creation, your efforts will directly impact our client business goals, with a focus on assisting the team deliver multichannel paid media marketing, campaign and customer support.

Demonstrated Experience & knowledge of organic / paid social / PPC search campaigns.
Support with Excellent Communication
It is the responsibility of the Marketing Assistant to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients. You are integral to our system and provide support to the team by communicating with many team members, vendors, and clients.
Hone Marketing Skills with Ads Creation
Our ideal Marketing Assistant knows how to create, launch, and monitor Google Ads. You are comfortable in the Google ecosystem and are at least familiar with some or most of the following applications to set up marketing activities for client websites. Google Ads, Google Search Console*, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager*, UTM codes*, Conversion(s)* and tracking methods, bidding strategies.
*you don’t need to be a pro, at least some working experience. We will train you. (if you are a digital marketer that has not used Google Search Console, please still apply)
Responsibilities
- Keyword search skills
- Copywriting
- Build PPC ads campaigns in Google Ads or Facebook
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialists and Project Managers to carry out changes, updates, or adjustments to better meet client goals.
- Onboard new clients into our marketing ecosystem via a variety of platforms and project tracking tools
- Work effectively with others to read and respond to varying complexity of client requests via a team email inbox in a timely manner
- Ability to speak and listen to team mates, clients and other contacts with empathy and a desire to create solutions
- Work with other teams to execute day to day tasks
- Clearly and concisely communicate with others over the phone, via Slack or email, or voice and video meetings. As well as documenting project progress across multiple platforms (Salesforce, Monday, etc.)
- Interface with clients directly on a regular or daily basis via Zoom, Google Meets, phone calls, and video conferencing.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of Google Ads Marketing
- 1+ year of Marketing experience in an agency or organization
- Current or past Google Ads certification
- Previous experience working in a client facing role, especially Customer Service or Retail Sales
Required Qualifications
- Current or past Google Ads & Analytics certification (if expired, must recertify before final interview or offer)
- Associates Degree in Marketing, Business or related area OR career certificate such as Google Grow Digital Marketing Career Certificate
- Some experience using Google Ads
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic Analytical skills, must have ability to understand marketing data and metrics and speak to them in understandable terms
- Ability to use spreadsheets at a basic level
- Ability to navigate the internet easily
- Ability to use a telephone and speak
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently with understanding of applicable technical terms and jargon
- Reliable home internet access, access to a telephone (any kind)

Google Apps, Google Gmail, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Console, Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, Salesforce.
